I am the owner and creative force behind Sherry Senior Designs. For the past 22 years, I have dedicated much of my life to providing quality decorative painting and color consultation to commercial and residential clients. I love anything that involves texture and color. When I am not on a ladder painting or choosing colors for a client I am creating something either in paint, textile or wood.
My creative flair came naturally from my parents. Both artists in their own right, they jointly built and ran a very successful fiber arts company in Montreal, Canada. I grew up surrounded by the creative process and found inspiration everywhere I looked. The gene was there! I received a Bachelor of Applied Arts from Ryerson University in Toronto, Canada studying Fashion Design, Textile Design, and Photography.
Over the years I have acquired extensive knowledge of painting techniques, using a variety of materials to produce truly unique spaces for my clients. I also discovered that by using the right paint color in any given space, you can transform the ordinary into something quite extraordinary. Thus my love of choosing color remains a constant thread in all that I do.
I feel most fortunate to have spent the better part of my life raising my family in the beautiful Green Mountains of Vermont.
I am an outdoors sports enthusiast and love spending time in the woods on my mountain bike, carving up great turns on my snowboard, and taking daily walks with my sweet Goldendoodle, Luna.
I am also passionate about fitness and teach an ongoing stretching and strengthening class most mornings in my community. I live with my husband, two teenage sons, and Luna in Shelburne, Vermont.
